Bathroom Changes

Hello Blog World!!!

I have been browsing so many websites looking at the amazing transformations being done with Board and Batten… So I decided to bite and try it myself. I started out looking at the narrow hallway between and then kept looking into my son’s bathroom also. Hummmmm… they are lacking personality. Convincing hubby was the biggest part of the whole project… so while the football game was on I started. He kept asking what are you doing, I tried so hard to explain to him what I was doing…All I keep hearing from him is I don’t think I’m going to like it!!! (I kept thinking to myself OH WELL, I'M GOING LOVE IT!!!!) So tell me what you think? Is he right?  I'm going to post alot of pictures of the before and then alot of the after!

I'm still working on the hall way and I should be done with that this weekend!!!  Update.... He likes it now!! LOL

Spicy Cornbread

SPICY CORNBREAD


2/3 cup vegetable oil
¼ cup flour
8oz sour cream
1 tbsp baking powder
½ cup whole kernel corn
½ bell pepper (optional)
½ cup chopped onion
2 tbsp Jalapeños
8oz cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients together and bake at 450 until golden brown.

Good Morning Blog World
I’m Back!!!!

The last year has gone by sooooo fast, to sum it up; I went on my first cruise (loved it), had some major problems with my oldest teenage son (tough love really works, he has now seen the light) . I also made a HUGE career change. I work for GSU for 17 years and I moved on to the FAA, now that I’m here…. OMG I wish I would have changed jobs years ago…I’m hoping to be able to blog weekly again.
